You will be introduced to the fundamentals of oil painting and you’ll gain a complete knowledge of the materials used – from brushes to palette paper, canvas to palette knives, and how to use them.\nThe students are encouraged to use their own photographs as source material to plan and create a painting and you may devote the entire sessions to one piece or work on multiple pieces during the class. You’ll be amazed how fun and easy oil painting can be.\nThe course will be over 5 weeks either on Thursday evenings from 19.00 – 21.00h or on Friday mornings from 10.00 – 12.00h starting on 10th/11th November. The materials are provided during the course and you will receive a supply list in case you want to buy your own additional materials. The fee for the 10h workshop and all materials is 460 Euro incl. VAT and payable on subscription.\nThis class will be taught by Burcu Uzun: “I am an artist specialized in oil painting, who’s passion is in the colours of life. In middle school, I began to study oil painting with my art teacher. I studied Chemical Engineering at Aegean University and at the same time continued to pursue my passion in painting and studied further art classes with various artists at the Art Academy.\nI summarised my journey in oil paintings and in colours: As long as I can remember, colours have been my dreams of hope, love and joy. I cherish all forms of arts, which give meaning to my life! For many years, I have run workshops and have passed on the passion for painting to many people.
