Dragon Friday – A 2-hour journey into Dragons in art
In collaboration with Dr. Sharon Khalifa-Gueta, an art historian who specializes in ancient art and dragons in Renaissance imagery and beyond, this workshop invites participants to explore dragons as a universal human motif across cultures.
We’ll trace the origins of dragon imagery in art, examine how forms evolve through time and uncover meanings across civilizations – from antiquity to the Renaissance. The session blends concise art-historical context with hands-on creation: after an introduction, you’ll craft a collage and ink based piece that expresses your interpretation, inspired by Renaissance masters and wider cultural contexts.
This workshop takes place on Friday night 24th October from 19.00 – 21.00. The course fee is 60 Euro incl. VAT and payable on subscription.
