The Sketchbook Bridge – A Workshop for Teenagers

 A 5-Week Journey from “First Idea to Finished Acrylic Painting”

You have ideas or even just a notion of a subject. This is where you learn to build them into a proper concept.

Every great painting starts as a spark – a feeling, an image, a “what if.” Over five weeks, you’ll take one of your own ideas and walk it across the bridge: from rough sketches and thumbnails, through color studies and composition decisions, to a finished acrylic painting you’re proud to call yours. No shortcuts, no copying – just your vision, developed with real technique and real support.

By the end, you won’t just have a painting. You’ll have a process you can use again and again – and a piece strong enough to anchor your portfolio.

Dear Parents,

This is a structured path, not just a class.

It is not a one-off project – it’s a skill-building journey. Each week builds on the last, guiding your teen from an original idea all the way through to a completed acrylic painting, with every step of the creative process taught along the way: from idea development, to sketching, composition, colour and execution.

The result is more than a finished artwork – it’s a portfolio-ready piece and a working creative process your teen can rely on for future projects, applications, or simply their own growth as an artist.

The workshop takes place on Thursday evenings 18.00 – 20.00 on the following dates 17th September, 24th September, 1st October, 8th October and 15th October. The course fee is 450 Euro incl. all materials and VAT for the set of five classes and payable on subscription.
