Exploring the Powerful Legacy of Women Artists Through Creative Expression

Join me for an inspiring art workshop over 5 weeks, where we honor the remarkable contributions of female artists throughout history. This engaging workshop will not only explore the significant impact women have had on the art world but also encourage participants to express their own artistic voices in response to the legacies of these trailblazers.

Throughout history, women artists have often been overlooked or marginalised, yet their work has shaped and enriched the art landscape. From the powerful abstract paintings of Helen Frankenthaler to the provocative work of Kara Walker and the vibrant works of Julie Mehretu, female artists have consistently pushed boundaries, challenged norms and expressed complex narratives.

In this workshop, we will delve into the lives and works of these influential women, discussing their artistic journeys and the themes that resonate within their creations. Participants will engage in hands-on art-making activities inspired by the styles and messages of these artists, allowing them to explore their own identity and perspectives.

Join me for a journey of empowerment and creativity as we celebrate the voices of women in art and encourage a new generation of female artists to find their place in the narrative!

This workshop takes place on Wednesday nights from 25th February – 25th March from 19.00 – 21.00. The course fee is 450 Euro incl. VAT and payable on subscription.
