Sculptural Symphony – An immersive weekend studio experience
Material conversations, deliberate form and your unique voice in 6 hours.
Step into Sculptural Symphony, a two-part, 6-hour studio journey designed for adults and teenagers who crave depth, craft and meaningful making. In a calm, focused studio atmosphere, you’ll explore a rich palette of materials like – clay, wire, match sticks, carton, plaster, cotton filling and stockings. Discovering how texture, weight, line and space can speak together.
Over two sessions, you’ll move between guided explorations and open-ended experimentation, building confidence with unfamiliar methods while cultivating your own sculptural language. The process emphasizes inquiry as much as outcome: pose questions, test ideas and reflect on choices as you go. By the end, you’ll assemble a final piece that weaves at least two materials into a cohesive whole, accompanied by a short artist statement that captures your concept and process.
This workshop is suitable for all levels – whether you’re refreshing a practice, expanding your portfolio, or seeking a creative reset. You’ll leave with a tangible sculpture, a compact record of your process and a renewed sense of how materiality and form can carry personal meaning.
Safety and care are at the heart of the experience: clear demonstrations, controlled workflows and all tools and materials provided. Please come curious, ready to experiment, and open to collaboration and dialogue with fellow makers.
This workshop takes place Saturday & Sunday 18th/19th October from 14.00 – 17.00. The course fee is 300 Euro incl. VAT and all used materials, payable on subscription.
