Being part of Sonja’s art classes has been a transformative experience. She doesn’t just teach painting techniques — though she does that brilliantly — she helps us reconnect with the joy of creating. Through her guidance, we explore a wide range of tools and methods, all of which enrich our personal artistic expression.
What truly sets Sonja apart is how she helps us shift from the rigid, academic approach many of us were taught in school to a more playful, modern, and intuitive style. Her classes are filled with encouragement and discovery, where every brushstroke becomes part of a larger journey toward finding our own voice as artists.
Thanks to her, I’ve not only grown technically but also emotionally and creatively. I’m incredibly grateful for the confidence and freedom she’s helped unlock in my art.
